Card for freshly made sketches and a special 50th card

Hi folks here i am again with another last minute card !!!! its for Freshly made sketches and this is the sketch

its taken me ages to put this together but probably because i have had so much on i have been out every day and even Friday evening plus i have had 2 cards to do for the OAP class this week and next as well as bake as Elvie is on holiday at Southport i just hope the weather picks up a bit for her any way will stop making excuses har har and get round to the card hope you like it

Today i would also like to show you the something special i had been working on i mentioned it last week it was for a friends 50th birthday i had seen it on a blog but it was in a foreign language and the translator wouldn't work boo hoo so had to work from pictures i had one attempt before the finished article and was so thrilled with the outcome its a handbag card and should be decorated inside as well but i left mine blank inside so it could be used as a scrapbook page as Tracey is into scrapping and had a fabulous trip to Amsterdam for her birthday so now she has a special place to put her favorite photos of her birthday and i also made a card book to fit inside so here are the photos for you too see oh and i nearly forgot i added a row of shocking pink gems front and back on the handbag flap after i had taken the photos to give it some bling i do hope you like it







on Saturday afternoon i went to Melbourne hall for a birthday tea treat with Tracey and some other friends it was sooooooo nice and so lovely of Tracey to organise it for us to all share in her celebrations we had sandwiches followed by cake with lots of tea and coffee also lots of chatter n laughter sorry no photos silly me forgot the camera so you will just have to imagine it !!!!!
My other news is that after my 6 week course at the leisure centre was over last Wednesday and i lost weight and plenty of inches i was very pleased with the results and have decided to keep it up so no slacking for me having said that i have been rather naughty this weekend so back on the diet after Monday as i cant not have a piece of cake at class especially as I've made it well my excuse har har and that's all from me for this week i hope you've enjoyed your visit to my blog and thank you to everybody who leaves me such lovely comments they are soooooooo appreciated all take care and happy crafting Luv Sue x

Workshop cards and OAPs card class another overload of Photos !!

Been missing again without leave !!!! n a card for a challenge

Hi all sorry Ive been missing again but last weekend was sooooooo busy we had an all day workshop with Tracey on the Saturday and i had a request from a lady to bake my lemon drizzle cake as it was her birthday and it had also been my birthday i also helped Elvie in the kitchen to put out the food for everybody's lunch it was her dooo and had organised the room and the day it was all fab but very tiring add this to a week of aqua classes and Mondays OAP craft club i was far to shattered to write the blog or do a challenge so here i am this week and talk about late i don't even know if the challenge has closed oops but i am going to show you anyway as i had to make 2 cards for the oldest set of twin Grand kids one of each sort i might add anyway the girl is into cheer leading in a big way so i have used freshly made sketches sketch for this week to make the card this is there link http://www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.au/2012/05/freshly-made-sketches-33-sketch-from.html i just love there sketches and here is the card I've made hope you like it !!!

Anyway the next card is for the boy who is into graffiti art n manga !!! where oh where do they get these ideas from har har it was actually very easy once i had found the royalty free image to work from as the imagination just ran away with me and here is my card not everybody's cup of tea but i know he will love it

A card for Freshly made sketches

Hi everybody what a shock another card for Freshly made sketches !!!! that's 2 weeks on the run i have made it all being last minute har har i seem to be very slowly getting back into blogging at last!!! anyway the card i have to show you today is for a friends birthday so two birds with one stone as they say and here is the card i hope you like it I've mainly used Su products and the blossom branch is glittered but it doesn't show up on the photos very well sorry

anyway that's enough of that and just to let you know i am still going to the gym and aqua classes in a bid to loose allot of weight the diet went out the window this weekend oops but will be back on the ball with it on Monday as its no point putting all this hard work into it and eating badly oh and nearly forgot i shall have to have a piece of cake tomorrow as its my birthday and am going out to lunch with my friends after classes and you cant not have cake on your birthday har har i just hope its a better day weather wise than today its been so grey n cold with rain and hail i still have all my seedlings in the greenhouse and tomatoes in the house and they are very tiny taking so long to grow and Dave hasn't been able to get onto the allotment as the ground is sooooo wet i think the plants would drown har har so today he has pottered here and this afternoon we went to visit a friend who had a present for Dave i don't think he could believe it as its not his birthday and i think he was expecting a joke pressie har har then when he opened it he was speechless doesnt happen often har har he got a handmade plaque for his shed this is a picture of it Margaret even made the wrapping paper the rest was a joint effort between her and Ivan

A quick 70th birthday and a challenge OMG !!!!!

Today i am an allotment widow har har so plenty of peace and quite for me today with no gym or exercise classes yipe but having said that i now don't have any excuse not to clean the craft room boo hoo so will have to get on with it hope you are all having a great weekend whatever you are doing all take care and happy crafting Luv Sue x

I'm still here n over loaded with pictures

Morning all well as you can see i am still here plodding on with even less time now than before !!!! the gardening season is upon us and have been busy planting seeds ready for Dave to plant up in the allotment its like having babies in the house har har i have also been doing allot of swimming and aqua classes along with a diet in a bid to loose some well allot of weight !!!!! and now have a referral to the gym also not forgetting the take n make class for the elderly on a Monday afternoon i just don't know how i am going to fit everything in but am going to give it my best shot har har
Anyway enough about that i hope you all had a fantastic Easter break we went with the caravan to Darley Dale not far away about 30 mins in the car the weather was very kind to us and we only had rain in the night but it was cold the water supply actually froze one night but we was very snug in our caravan this is a picture of what we woke to on our first morning so beautiful who would believe we were only half an hour away


we did plenty of walking while there and i actually managed to walk to Matlock and back although the steam train was very enticing har har we did Bakewell and sat and had hot chocolate coffee and cakes very naughty well i thought i deserved it while there we went to the Little craft and gift fair guess who bought more cake !!!! oops but they were divine but they are a bit squished on the photo and Dave actually got a new tea cosy for his little teapot making him one is on my to do list har har maybe get round to a very posh one for Christmas !!!!!





Then came Monday and time to go home we woke to terrible rain !!!!! Dave got wet through sorting the outside things while i stayed in the warm and dry all say arrrrrrrr it was forecast to brighten for lunch so we planned to get back for then well on arrival the heavens opened it was stair rods and we both got wet through putting the caravan back to bed at the farm then home get out our wet things and get in a hot shower Easter adventure over till next time out well i hope i haven't bored you with our adventure too much har har
Finally today i would like to show you the card and box i made for my Friends birthday way back in November oops where does the time go !!!! its an accordion card or book using mainly SU stamps and papers my friend adored it hope you enjoy looking at it too
